Olivia C. Brown, CPA
CEO, Co-Founder
“Excellence is never an accident, It’s the result of skillful execution,” is the mantra that inspires Olivia C. Brown.
​
More than 30 years of operational experience in global luxury hotels, resorts and residential operations, brand marketing, sales and distribution channels, talent management, including integrated resort operations within the gaming sector and more than 20 years in strategic leadership roles. Brown is an experienced board member, CPA and an internationally proven strategic executive with a track record of developing and executing strategies that maximize hotel, residential and gaming performance. She is largely recognized for creating value within an organization through effectively diagnosing problems and thoroughly analyzing information to guide decision-making, implementing continuous improvement process initiatives and creating innovative programs that boost customer and employee experience results, while enhancing hotel and gaming revenue, Profit and Key performance metrics.

Olivia’s expertise in leading and developing high performing talented workforce, customer value creation, operational excellence, revenue and profit generation, internal audit/compliance procedures, strength in financial and operational risk assessment, asset launch, brand positioning and shifting market share in a competitive market landscape is invaluable.
Most recently Brown served as General Manager for Bellagio Hotel & Casino, one of the most iconic property in the world, where she was responsible for the development of the strategic direction, evaluating opportunities to maximize operational performance and leadership across resort operations of the 3933 room hotel & casino and over 7, 000 employees.

Prior to joining Bellagio, she served as the General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences in Boston, General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences in Philadelphia, Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead in Atlanta, GA and interim General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester in White Plains, NY.

Olivia’s experience also includes working for the InterContinental Hotels Group for almost eighteen years serving in a wide range of leadership positions, including Hotel Manager for the Inter-Continental Hotels of Cleveland; as well as Executive Assistant Manager for the Crowne Plaza Royal Palm South Beach. Additionally, she has held various corporate positions with InterContinental including the management of the global hotel audit department for the hotel group.

In 2007, Brown was honored by the National Association of Black Accountant with the National Award “Walking the Road Less Traveled.” In 2011, Brown received “Global General Manager of The Year” for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and in 2012, she received the esteemed “Power-at-the-Front-Door” Trumpet Award Saluting African American for outstanding achievement. In 2013, Olivia also received the “General Manager of the Year” award from the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners.

Olivia received a degree in hospitality and tourism administration from the Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto, Ontario.
​
Brown has served on numerous executive boards including the Philadelphia Mayor’s Hospitality Committee.

Angella M. Reid
COO, Co-Founder
Angella Reid has decades of experience working at the highest levels of luxury hospitality, most recently at the head of The White House Executive Residence.
She was appointed Director of the Executive Residence and Chief Usher in 2011 by President Obama, making her the ninth Chief Usher in the history of The White House and the first woman to ever serve in this role. Angella served during both the Obama and Trump Administrations.
Prior to her White House appointment, Angella gained a thorough operational background, having served as the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, and before that, the Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove Hotel & Residences, Miami. She also held executive positions at the AAA Five Diamond Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C., the Hartford Marriott Rocky Hill Hotel in Connecticut, the Renaissance New York Hotel, and the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. She considers herself an expert in the general operations of luxury, corporate and resort hotels, and has spent time managing the operations of a Single Family Office in Chicago.

In her over 30 years of experience in hospitality management, Angella has a proven track record of building and managing high performing teams in fast paced and complex environments. She is known for implementing strategies which drive operational excellence and owner satisfaction.
​
Throughout her noteworthy hospitality career, Angella is known for her strong synergistic leadership style, turning around hotel operations through results driven solutions to elevate service, support positive cultural change, increase profit margins, resulting in increased Employee, Guest and Owner satisfaction. With her exceptional knowledge of hotel operations she has consistently achieved exceptional results including having at one time led her team to the highest Profit Margin among domestic Ritz-Carlton Hotels. She is a strategic, results driven, highly motivated leader, committed to excellence and achievement of a Balanced Scorecard .

She was a team member and key contributor to the Ritz-Carlton's first Cobalt Team, a team of discipline experts brought together to seek new and innovative ways to drive revenue and increase profitability in hotels across the brand.
​
Angella has completed many professional speaking engagements among them participating in Cornell University’s Distinguished Speaker Series and addressing the 80th Annual AHLA Resort Committee Meeting . She has received numerous accolades among them being the recipient of multiple Ritz-Carlton Leadership Awards, a feature in Florida Magazine’s “Movers and Shakers” Issue in 2007, as well as her historic White House appointment appearing as a Jeopardy question.

Angella strongly believes in giving back to the community and has served on the Coconut Grove BIC, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, partnered with the Marketing Committee of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, led the Marriott Diversity Council in the Northeast, served on the Board of Directors of USO Metro D.C., and since 2017 serves on the Board of Girls Inc of Chicago.

Angella is from Jamaica and got her start in hotels as a Front Desk Agent at The Half Moon Club in Montego Bay. She subsequently completed her Hotel & Tourism Management studies in Germany.
